What a night! Our 5th Annual Fabric of Freedom Gala took place on October 6th, 2012 and we could not be more delighted or grateful for the turnout. Not only was this a record year for us in attendance, but thanks to the generosity of the many friends and partners of International Princess™ Project, we reached a new record in funds raised. We are delighted to report that this year’s Gala raised over $120,000 to further the mission of our critical work in India! Below are a few highlights of the night.

At the entrance, guests were invited to write on the Freedom Wall with examples of what freedom means to them.
The PUNJAMMIES™ Boutique was all decked out, featuring the bright fabrics of some of our favorite products for guests to purchase in support of IPP’s efforts in India.
During cocktail hour, Gala attendees mingled on the patio and perused the tables in search of the perfect Silent Auction items to bid on.

Guests gathered around colorful tables and settled in for an evening journeying from despair to hope.
Keynote Speaker, John Cotton Richmond challenged us all to persist in fighting slavery because ‘[It] may not be history yet, but it will be. Slavery will lose, justice will win, and people will be free!’
Our elegant Master of Ceremonies, Sally Cook of Dreamworks Animation kept the evening moving along with grace and humor.
Julie Wood, Executive Director of International Princess ™ Project, shared the vision of where IPP is headed and recounted powerful stories of the many women she encountered on her recent visit to our sewing centers throughout India
Bob Miller thrilled the crowd with his high-energy auctioneering!
